The service

HostBox Party Games (hostbox.games) is a browser-based party game hub: a shared screen shows the board while players join from their phones. Guests can play free without an account; hosts may create an account and optionally subscribe to HostBox Premium for additional features.

Subscriptions & billing

HostBox Premium is billed through Stripe as a recurring subscription (monthly or yearly) and renews automatically until cancelled. Cancel any time from the billing portal on your account page — you keep Premium until the end of the period already paid for. Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice; changes never apply retroactively to a period you've already paid.

Acceptable use

Keep display names appropriate for the room you're in; the room host can remove players. Don't attempt to disrupt games, access other players' hands, or probe the service for vulnerabilities. Accounts used for abuse may be suspended.

Trademarks

HostBox Party Games is an independent project. Uno is a trademark of Mattel; Scrabble is a trademark of Hasbro (Mattel outside North America). HostBox's card and word games are original implementations of classic public-domain game mechanics and are not affiliated with or endorsed by those companies.

Warranty & liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Games in progress may be lost during maintenance or outages. To the maximum extent permitted by law, liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the preceding 12 months.
