Color Card Clash

Color Card Clash — a free card shedding game, no app to download

The full 108-card experience in your browser: reds, yellows, greens and blues, skips, reverses, draw-twos and wilds. The TV shows the discard pile and whose turn it is; your hand stays secret on your phone. 2–8 players, free, and nothing to install.

How a round works

  1. Match the top card by color or number, or play an action card.
  2. Skips, reverses, draw-twos, wilds and wild-draw-fours shake up the turn order.
  3. Down to one card? Tap the big CLASH! button before someone catches you — get caught and you draw two.
  4. First player out collects points from everyone's leftover cards; play to a target score. Fuzzy on the details? Read the complete Color Card Clash rules and scoring guide.

Play it like a local party screen game

Party mode puts the drama on the TV — the giant discard pile, the direction arrow, the "down to ONE card!" banner — while everyone plays from their phone. House rules keep games moving: draw at most one card per turn, and no stacking draw-twos.

Official rules & mechanics

Everyone starts with seven cards from a 108-card deck (four colors, action cards, and wilds). On your turn, play a card that matches the top of the discard pile by color or number, or play an action card any time. Skip and Reverse change who goes next; Draw Two forces the next player to draw and lose their turn; Wilds let you set the color, and a Wild Draw Four does that plus forces a four-card draw.

If you can't play, draw one card from the deck — play it immediately if it fits, otherwise your turn ends. The moment you're down to your last card you have to hit the call button before anyone catches you, or you draw two as a penalty. Rooms seat 2 to 8 players.

The first player to empty their hand wins the round and scores everyone else's leftover cards — number cards at face value, action cards worth more. Play repeats to a target score (200 is a quick night, 500 the full match).

Strategy & tips

Hold onto action cards — Skips, Reverses, and Draw Twos — for moments you actually need to change the turn order, rather than playing them just because they're legal. A Draw Two saved for when you're close to empty can buy you the turn you need to go out clean.

Track colors, not just numbers. If the table is heavy on one color, holding a matching card gives you a safe play almost every turn; wilds are best saved for when you're stuck on every color.

Count cards left in opponents' hands. Someone sitting on one or two cards is worth pressuring with Draw Twos and Skips before they get a clean shot at going out.
