Every play is validated live against the ENABLE word list — more than 170,000 words — so there's no dictionary-thumbing and no table disputes. Choose relaxed mode (invalid words just bounce back for a retry) or strict mode (a bad word costs your turn) in the lobby.
Each of 2 to 4 players draws a rack of 7 letter tiles from a shared bag. The opening word must cross the board's center square; after that, every new word must connect to a tile already on the board, reading left-to-right or top-to-bottom. Every word your tiles complete that turn scores, including any cross-words formed along the way.
Letters carry point values — common letters like E and A score 1, rare ones like Q and Z score 10. Premium squares multiply a single letter or the whole word, but only the first time a tile lands on them. Using all 7 rack tiles in one turn earns a 50-point bingo bonus on top of the word's score.
The game ends the moment the tile bag is empty and one player uses their last tile. Everyone else subtracts their remaining tile values from their score; the player who went out adds the sum of everyone else's leftovers to theirs.
Learn a handful of two-letter words (QI, ZA, XU, JO) — they unlock parallel plays in tight spots and are the single highest-value thing to memorize for this game.
Play parallel to existing words, not just through them — a modest word placed alongside another can score several cross-words at once and out-score a flashier long play.
Keep your rack balanced between vowels and consonants, and hold your S and any blank tiles for a turn that really needs them — an S both extends an existing word and starts a new one, and blanks are worth the most saved for a bingo.
